Holiness, Integrity and true Seeking : the 3 elements of answered prayer
Introduction
In this lesson, we will see the three elements of answered prayers. God requires us to be a) Holy b) Integral and c) truly seeking, in order to receive answers to our prayers
Holiness & Integrity & True Seeking
1. To be holy is also to be pure. God wants us to be pure. Purity will enable us to see God and receive answers to prayer.
- kj;NjA 5:8. ,Ujaj;jpy; Rj;jKs;stu;fs; ghf;fpathd;fs;; mtu;fs; Njtidj; juprpg;ghu;fs;.
- Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.
2. Our God is not made up of wood and stone. He is a living and also a Holy God. Without holiness, it is impossible to see God.
- vgpnuau; 12:14. ahtNuhLk; rkhjhdkhapUf;fTk;> gupRj;jKs;stu;fshapUf;fTk; ehLq;fs;; gupRj;jkpy;yhky; xUtDk; fu;j;jiuj; juprpg;gjpy;iyNa.
- Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:
3. Holiness also means being integrated. One must have integrity in his actions and words. If one is holy, whatever he says and does will be same (Integrity in words and actions)
- Satan could not stand in the presence of God, because he lacked integrity

- Ananias and Sapphira died because of unholiness (did not have integrity in their words and actions).

And Ananias hearing these words fell down, and gave up the ghost: and great fear came on all them that heard these things.

4. Flee from double-mindedness.
- God does not want unstable men, who seek Him with double-mindedness. A double-minded person cannot receive anything from God.

5. True Seeking gets prayers answered
- When we seek him truly, we will receiver answers. It should not be a religious activity, but a true search from the heart.
-

And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.

Conclusion
God is a prayer answering God. He wants us to be holy and without holiness no one can see God. It is when we seek Him without doubting, we will receive answers to our prayers. Holiness is also integrity. Holiness in our words and actions brings us closer to God. Finally, God wants us to truly seek him, not as a religious activity, but a true search for God with all our heart, soul, mind and strength. He wants to answer our prayers as the Scripture says:
Nahthd; 16:24. ,Jtiuf;Fk; ePq;fs; vd; ehkj;jpdhNy xd;Wk; Nfl;ftpy;iy; NfSq;fs;> mg;nghOJ cq;fs; re;Njh\k; epiwthapUf;Fk;gb ngw;Wf;nfhs;tPu;fs;.
Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.
