Finance Foundation Principles
|
|
Much of our life is impacted by Finances. Solomon said, "Money answers everything". Money answers every acquisition of every material thing. We need to understand the biblical view of Finances to handle finances effectively, to come out of debt, to leave inheritance to our children.
In this lesson, we shall study the fundamentals of Finance.

|
1. God made Gold
|
- Devil is not the author of money. God made gold and informed it to Adam. God knew that Gold (or money) will be essential for trading, and exchange of goods and services. Soon silver coins and currency will be utilized for the same purpose of exchanging goods and services in history.
-

2. God owns it all
|
- God is the owner of heaven and earth. If God owns it all, and he has given it to man, it is incumbent upon us to see that the earth has been given to man and not to the devil.
-

3. Man loses authority & God reverses the Curse through Jesus
|
- Man was born to work and tend the garden. But the work becomes harder after the man's fall. Adam and Eve disobeyed God and life became harder in the garden of Eden.
-

4. God is in control
|
- At all points in time, God is in control of the Universe. God is in control of finances. He knows what we need, and He knows what we have. When we surrender to Him, He will entrust us with riches.
-

He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth are the Lord's, and he hath set the world upon them.

5. God can provide and He is our Provider
|
- When we walk according to the Word of God, we can have financial victory. God promises to provide for all our needs and give us financial victory when we seek Him and Keep His Commandments
-

6. We are God's stewards
|
- We must remember that God is going to entrust us with Money. We are the stewards in His Kingdom and we have the responsibility to give account to the Lord
-
Luke 16:1. gpd;Dk; mtu; jk;Kila rP\u;fis Nehf;fp: IRtupathdhfpa xU kD\Df;F xU cf;fpuhzf;fhud; ,Ue;jhd;; mtd; jd; v[khDila M];jpfis mopj;Jg;NghLfpwjhf v[khDf;F mwptpf;fg;gl;lJ.
And he said also unto his disciples, There was a certain rich man, which had a steward; and the same was accused unto him that he had wasted his goods.

And he called him, and said unto him, How is it that I hear this of thee? give an account of thy stewardship; for thou mayest be no longer steward.
- Joseph was a good steward. Because he was faithful in small things (in Portiphar's house and in the prison), God set him over much.
-
Genesis 41:39. gpd;G> ghu;Nthd; NahNrg;ig Nehf;fp: Njtd; ,itnay;yhtw;iwAk; cdf;F ntspg;gLj;jpapUf;fpwgbahy;> cd;idg;Nghy tpNtfKk; QhdKKs;std; NtnwhUtDk; ,y;iy.

7. True Riches
|
- Entitlement to riches on this earth is only the beginning of stewardship. If we are faithful in small things, God will entrust us with His true (heavenly) riches.
-
Luke 16:10. nfhQ;rj;jpNy cz;ikAs;std; mNefj;jpYk; cz;ikAs;stdhapUf;fpwhd;> nfhQ;rj;jpNy mePjpAs;std; mNefj;jpYk; mePjpAs;stdhapUf;fpwhd;.

And if ye have not been faithful in that which is another man's, who shall give you that which is your own?

Conclusion
|
God is the author and finisher of our faith. God is also the author and owner of every wealth and resources. When we seek Him and keep His commandments, we will become good stewards of His wealth. May the Lord make us his faithful stewards through Christ Jesus. Amen.
