Eliminate Distraction => Increase Speed

1. Satan wants to take the vision
   1. Samson was put to sleep (Jud 16:19);
   2. Samson lost his eyes (jud 16:21)
2. Satan wants you to become captive
   1. Samson starts grinding the mill (Judges 16:21);
   2. Vision lost takes one to grind (moving in circles); not forward
3. Satan wants you to be slow
   1. Grinding is slow process; (Judges 16:21)
   2. round trip (Israel around Mt. Sinai); Deu 2:3; Joshua 5:6
4. Satan wants to put you to shame
   1. Samson was brought to perform (Judges 16:25)
   2. Jesus was mocked for our sins (Luke 22:63-64)
5. Jesus delivered Mary Magdalene
   1. Out of whom had gone 7 demons supported preaching (Luke 8:1-3)
   2. Mary magdalene present during crucifixion (Matt 27:55-56)
   3. Mary magdalene present during death and burial (Matt 27:60-61)
   4. Mary magdalene becomes first woman to see risen Christ (Matt 28:1-10)
6. Jesus delivered the bound to walk, run, jump.. faster...
   1. Woman bound for 18 years (Luke 13:10-17) (Satan bound; Not naturally bent)
   2. Increased her speed of walking (moved fast; could have helped Jesus)
   3. Man at the beautiful gate (church) unable to walk (Acts 3:1-8) (not $)
      1. we need Jesus to increase our speed.
      2. we need Jesus to strengthen our ankles;
      3. Diligent man earns riches but idle chatter leads to poverty (Pv 14:23)
7. Jesus gives new sight to Paul
   1. Scales fell from his eyes (Acts 9:17-18)
   2. God chose Paul, to open other’s eyes (Acts 26:18); from darkness to light
   3. clear vision; run the race;

Conclusion Prayer:

1. Let me run for Jesus looking to the author and finisher (Hebrews 12:1-2)
2. Deliver me O GOD from demons (chains) and lack of vision
3. Give me new eye sight (scales fall off) & Holy Spirit
4. Give new spiritual vision (new ministry)
5. Ephesians, “That the eyes of my understanding may be enlightened..” (Eph 1:18-19)
6. Increase my speed and productivity
7. Name of God be glorified in my life
